My roles have rarely fit into one specialty. I’ve moved between customer-facing web applications, backend services, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and third-party integrations as the work required.
Since January, 2026, I’ve split my time between contract software development, technical consulting, and personal projects. So far, most of my client work has come through people I know or have worked with before. If you’ve got a project I could help with, feel free to email me.

Software Developer & Consultant
Contract work includes designing and building websites and web applications, adding features to existing software, connecting third-party services, and improving the infrastructure that supports them.

Principal Software Engineer
As the engineering team became smaller, I became the sole engineer responsible for Sundae’s technical operation. I worked across TypeScript and React applications, backend APIs, AWS and Cloudflare infrastructure, data and machine-learning pipelines, Salesforce, and the public WordPress site.
2015–2021
Software Consultant
I worked on client systems in healthcare, insurance, fintech, real estate, manufacturing, and media. Projects ranged from cloud infrastructure and data pipelines to distributed testing and embedded systems.
Designed and built a website for a Kansas City-area mandolin builder and repair shop using Astro, deployed on Cloudflare Workers.

A minimal, more personal CRM for direct sales business owners who need to track customer interactions without the complexity of a larger sales platform.
